W. Jamie Plante, MD

Wally Jamie Plante MD was born in Southern California and grew up in North Dakota. He returned to California and earned his bachelor of science from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where he graduated cum laude. He then went on to graduate from University of the Americas with a doctorate in medicine. Dr. Plante trained at University of Florida where he completed his internal medicine intern year and subsequent residency in neurology, where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in neurology, ABPN diplomate. He has served on various committees as a neurology representative. He has been involved in multiple research studies as sub-investigator for intracerebral vascular events, intracerebral hemorrhage, and stroke prevention.

Dr. Plante is known for his patience, dedication and attention to detail for each individual patient. He has a passion for patient care and strives to improve the quality of life of his patients through his caring approach to health care.

His personal interests include spending time with his wife and three children, boating and wake boarding, snow skiing, scuba diving, camping and sports. He is also a classic car enthusiast.
